Lorne Everett Budd

The passing of Lorne Everett Budd occurred on July 2, 2020 at the St. Stephen Senior's Complex, Old Ridge NB. Born in St. Stephen NB on November 26, 1950, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Lois (Omar) Budd. Lorne is survived by his sons: Trevor Budd (Cindy Lynn Ruest) of St. Andrews NB and Eric Budd (Jana) of Round Rock TX; his grandchildren: Lydia, Madelynn, Alex and Hailey; siblings: Benny Budd and Sandra Pickard: several, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Prior to retirement, Lorne worked as a Woodsman and as a Welder with Ocean Steel. An avid outdoorsman, he loved going on mud runs and took part in many woodsman and lumberjack competitions, where he was skilled at racing chainsaws. Lorne was also a backyard mechanic who had a passion for old muscle cars and enjoyed getting his hands dirty. When able, he loved to play a game of baseball or he could be found tossing around Horseshoes.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. There will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
