Arlene lived in many places over her lifetime including Grand Manan, N.B., Canso, N.S. and many parts of Newfoundland. She moved to Beaver Harbour in 1968 where she spent The remainder of her life. Prior to her retirement she worked as a hairstylist for 40 years. She spent her free time quilting, watching CNN and bitching about Trump. She loved spending time with her great grandchildren who brought her the most joy and made leaving almost impossible. She was better known to many as Nanny Arlene. She will also be remembered for her kindness and generosity.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital and at Bobby’s Hospice for caring for her as their own.
