Lucy Joanne Tracy
Unexpectedly at her home in Utopia NB on June 14th, 2020, Mrs. Lucy Joanne (Mahar) Tracy, wife of the late Carl Tracy Jr. of Utopia NB. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on August 26, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Vean and Hazel (Cooke) Mahar. A loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend, she is survived by three children: Terry Tracy at home, Scott (Karen) Tracy of Beaver Harbour NB and Wendy (Heath) Cooke of Back Bay NB and her 2 fur babies Molly and Yoda; two grandchildren: Carlie Cooke and Cameron Cooke both of Back Bay NB; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her siblings: Robert (Betty) Mahar and Randy Mahar both of British Columbia, Janice (Ralph) Justason of Seeley's Cove NB, Norma (Gerald) Belliveau, Allen (Glenna) Mahar and Dorothy (Mike) Barry all of Pennfield NB, David (Eliza) Mahar and Beth Mahar both of Blacks Harbour NB; mother-in-law: Doreen Tracy; three brother-in-laws: Peter Seeley of Blacks Harbour NB, Calvin Justason of Pennfield NB and Jerry (Donalda) Tracy of St. Stephen NB; two sister-in-laws: Rose Mahar of Blacks Harbour NB and Kim (Karen) Spellman-Tracy of Pennfield NB; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lucy had many special friends who loved her dearly. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers: Howard and Roger Mahar; two sisters: Patricia Seeley and Dawn Justason; and her father-in-law: Carl Tracy Sr.

Prior to retirement, mom worked and retired from Connor's Brothers after 32 years. She loved traveling and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids, Carlie and Cameron, who where her whole world. She was an avid reader and Bingo Player. Lucy was a loyal Lions member of the Eastern Charlotte Lions Club for 30 Years. Mom was truly loved and will be missed by everyone that knew her.

Resting at the Blacks Harbour Wesleyan Church, Blacks Harbour NB with visiting at the church on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm.Please keep in mind that Covid-19 restrictions will be in place where no more than 50 persons can be permitted inside at one time. Please be patient and expect delay's. A private family service will be held at a later time.
