Carole Anne King
At the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour NB on April 4, 2020, Mrs. Carole Anne (McPherson) King, beloved wife of Norman King of New River NB passed away peacefully with her family at her side. Born at Saint John NB on May 23, 1937, she was a daughter of the late William and Ruth (Williams) McPherson.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister' Carole will be greatly missed by her husband of 59 years Norman King, daughter; Jocelyn Hanley of Blacks Harbour and her daughters: Arielle Hanley of Utopia and Madaline Hanley of Back Bay, son Corey of Alberta, sisters Ruth (Jim) Henderson of Saint John, and Debbie Davis of Pocologan, two nieces Avery and Jennifer and one nephew James.

Carole enjoyed living at New River Beach where she could be seen daily going for her walk throughout the neighborhood and across the beach. Carole had many hobbies; she enjoyed knitting, quilting with her friends and her weekly bible study group. She was an active member of the Anglican Parish of Musquash. She very much enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Carole loved to sit and read while listening to her music alongside her beloved cat "Daisy".

The family would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the Fundy Nursing Home for all their love, care and kindness given to Carole and her family. The Fundy Nursing Home will always hold a special place in our hearts as they had become "our family". We will miss you all so very much.

There will be no visitation or funeral at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In Carole's memory donations to the Fundy Nursing Home, Alzheimer's Society of NB or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
