Sharon Anne Hooper
The passing of Sharon Anne (LeBlanc) Hooper of Saint John NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on March 27, 2020. Born in Meteghan NS on May 19, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Cecile (Dugas) LeBlanc. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Sharon is survived by her two daughters: Holly Hooper (Cliff Needle) of Redwater AB and Joy Lloyd (Nathan Kenney) of Saint John NB; her grandsons: Nate Kenney and Jax Kenney both of Saint John NB; one brother: Pete LeBlanc of Pennfield NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her brothers: Maurice and Victor.

Prior to retirement, Sharon was once employed by Connor's Brothers in Blacks Harbour and in her later years she enjoyed catering events in and around Saint John. An avid reader, she could often be found with a book in hand. Sharon was a social butterfly who enjoyed being in the company of her family and friends. She loved attending dances and listening to music and was known as a giving soul who enjoyed to volunteer any chance she had. Sharon loved to attend church and was a recent member of the Crescent Valley Full Gospel Church in Saint John. Her kind heart will be fondly remembered but forever missed by her family.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. As keeping with Sharon's wishes a private family graveside service will be held at the Stella Maris Catholic Cemetery, Blacks Harbour NB at a later date. In Sharon's memory, donations to the Diabetes Association, the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
