Viola Madonna LeBlanc
The passing of Viola Madonna (Justason) LeBlanc, wife of the late Edgar Joseph LeBlanc of Blacks Harbour NB occurred at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour NB on March 19, 2020. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on July 23, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Addie (Cooke) Justason. Viola will be lovingly remember by her siblings: Phyllis Thorne of Saint John NB and Paul Justason (Josie) of Kentville NS; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Viola was predeceased by her son: Richard "Boomer" LeBlanc; and her brothers: Melvin, Reg, Dennis and Colin.

Viola was a kind soul and always welcomed you into her home with a cup of tea. She worked for Connors Bros. for a number of years after moving to Blacks Harbour from Moncton. She loved knitting, crocheting, cooking and walking the beach looking for Sea Glass. She also loved spending time at the camp with her friends and family and could often be found reading or listening to music, especially Country and Gospel. She was a member of the The Blacks Harbour Wesleyan Church Seniors Group, the Ladies Auxiliary and was an active knitter in the Prayer Shawl Group. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, A private service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Card offficating. In her memory, donations to Fundy Nursing Home would be greatly appreciated by the family.
