Cecil Lynden Richardson
The passing of Cecil Lynden Richardson, husband of Teresa (Young) Richardson of Fairhaven NB occurred after a long and courageous battle with a long term illness at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on December 11, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Eastport ME on May 22, 1953, he was a son of the late Desmond and Lena (Tewksbury) Richardson. A loving husband, father and brother; Cecil will be greatly missed by his devoted and loving wife: Teresa of Fairhaven NB; his daughters: Sarah Richardson and Sabrina Richardson; one brother: Murray (Gloria) Richardson of Richardsonville NB; one sister: Alice Lambert (Cleveland Lord) of Lambertville NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Cecil was predeceased by one brother Paul.

Prior to retirement, Cecil worked as a Mate and as a Captain on the Deer Island Ferries. He loved the water and loved that he was able to make a living on it. He enjoyed four wheeling and was often tinkering and fixing things for his family and friends. Devoted to his family, Cecil enjoyed to spend all his free time surrounded by those he loved. He was a member of the Leonardville Church of Christ and he will be missed by his family, friends and his community.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. At Cecil's request a private family visitation will be held. A public Funeral Service will take place on Sunday at 2:00 pm from the Leonardville Church of Christ, Leonardville NB with Rev. Conrad Cline and Rev. Jonathan Hatt officiating, followed by the interment at the Leonardville Community Cemetery. In Cecil's memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer, The Leonardville Community Cemetery or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
