Raymond Claude Munn

The passing of Raymond Claude Munn, husband of Patricia (Edwards) Munn of St. George NB occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on November 1, 2019. Born in Doaktown NB on November 28, 1938, he was a son of the late William and Barbara (Price) Munn. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his wife Patti, Raymond is survived by sons: Ross (Leanne) Munn of Bedford NS and Rodney Munn of Saudi Arabia; grandchildren: Alexander, Callum and Connor; one sister: June (Irving) Connor of New Maryland NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Raymond was predeceased by siblings: Sherman, William, Andrew, Thomas, Duncan, Wesley, Hughie and Mary.

Prior to retirement, Raymond was a Pipefitter with Local 213. An avid sports fan he was usually up to date on sport stats and he often had curling or hockey playing on TV. He loved going to Tim's where he socialized with his friends and in his quiet time he enjoyed doing crosswords and words puzzles. He truly loved his family and the time spent with his grandchildren. Raymond was active in his community and was a former Town Councilor with the Town of St. George and he was a member of the St. Mark's Anglican Church. A kind and generous soul, Raymond had a soft spot for animals and he loved spending time with his beloved cats, Pepper and Fluffy. Raymond will always be remembered as a kind gentleman and he will be missed by many in the community.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. As keeping with Raymond's wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. In Raymond's memory, donations to the St. George Animal Shelter or to the St. George Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
