Jean Eleanor Fraser

At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on October 14, 2019, Jean Eleanor (Heacock) (Eldridge) Fraser, wife of the late Leo Robert Fraser of St. George NB. Born in Ontario on July 8, 1948, she was a daughter of the late George Alan and Velma Kathleen Heacock.

A loving partner, mother, grandmother and sister she is survived by her partner Jim Muise of St. George NB, her sons; Clint Eldridge of Saskatchewan and George Eldridge (Lisa Todd) of Quispamsis NB, stepson; Jerry Fraser (Candie Leavitt) of Back Bay NB, Stepdaughters: Rosa (Colin) Dick of Beaver Harbour, Ruth (Teddy) Price of Bocabec NB and Loretta (Rodger) Waycott of St. George NB, her grandchildren: Megan, Emma, Bradon, Dustin, Brooklyn, Jennica, Stephen, Jana, Cameron, Cyndail and Liam, several great grandchildren, her sisters: Brenda (Dave) Jones and Irene Lawrie both of Ontario as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands: Bruce Eldridge and Leo Fraser.

Prior to her retirement, Jean worked as a laborer for Connors Brothers in Blacks Harbour for 37 years most of them in the labelling room. Jean was also known for possessing a serious work ethic and showed it in everything she did as well as extraordinary organizing skills. She was also a bit of a homebody, enjoying spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and could be seen from time to time in the company of her partner Jim, visiting Tim Hortons or just out and about for a drive. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her

Arrangements are in the care of the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium, 26 Portage St. St. George NB. In keeping with Jeans wishes, there will be no visiting or service. In Jeans memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
