Twilah Fern Rhynold

1942-2019

Twilah Fern Rhynold
The passing of Twilah Fern Rhynold, wife of the late Leo Roy Rhynold of Old Ridge NB and formerly of Beaver Harbour NB occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on October 1, 2019. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on August 20, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Cora (Burrell) Bradford. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Twilah is survived by her sons: Leigh Rhynold (Heather Langlais) of Oak Bay NB and Brock (Gina) Rhynold of Pennfield NB; daughters: Darlene Syrnyk of Edmonton AB and Stephanie Bose of Oakville ON; nine grandchildren; her brother: Donnie (Evelyn) Bradford of Utopia NB; sisters: Judy Bradford (Doreen Booth) of Saint John NB and Dolores (Doug) Lockhart of Blacks Harbour NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Twilah was predeceased by her daughter: Tina Paul; grandson: Stephen Koteff; her brothers: Harold, Roy, Burrell and Freddie Bradford; and her sisters: Prena Deveau, Stella Steeves, Anne Gaudett, Donaldine McGarrigle and Irene Gagne.

Prior to retirement Twilah worked for various courier companies making deliveries in the local and surrounding communities. She had a loving and generous heart who loved her family and devoted her time to them and her Church. She loved being with her grandchildren and would light up when they came to visit. Twilah will truly be missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Visiting will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 pm. Visiting will also be held at the Original Spoken Word Full Gospel Assembly, Pennfield NB, on Friday from 2:00 pm leading into the funeral service beginning at 3:30 pm with Rev. Neil Connolly officiating followed by the interment in the Blacks Harbour Community Cemetery. In Twilah's memory donations to the Kidney Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
