Katrina Myrtle Kinney

The passing of Katrina Myrtle Kinney of Johnson Settlement NB occurred unexpectedly on June 23, 2019 in Rollingdam NB. Born in Saint John NB on March 29, 1992, she was the daughter of Kevon and Rose (McLeod) Kinney. A loving daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece and friend, Katrina will be sadly missed by her parents: Kevon and Rose of Johnson Settlement NB, her brother: Kyle (Jessica) Kinney of Johnson Settlement NB; her beloved nephews: Edward and Hershel; her beloved niece: Ava; her maternal grandmother: Phyllis McLeod of Pleasant Ridge NB; several great aunts, great uncles, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Katrina was predeceased by her paternal grandparents: Harlon and Myrtle Kinney; maternal grandfather: Ralph McLeod; uncles: Vernon and Randal Kinney; and special grandmother: Inez Whittier.

Katrina was currently employed with Cooke Aquaculture in St. George. A self proclaimed "Country Girl" Katrina loved hunting, fishing and telling stories around a campfire with her family and friends. She loved music, especially country, and she always treasured the time she spent with her nephews and niece. Strong willed, independent and always willing to help a friend in need, Katrina will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jason Hooper officiating, followed by the interment in the Johnson Settlement Cemetery. In Katrina's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
