Raymond Joseph Breau

It is with great sadness that the family of Raymond Joseph Breau of Pennfield NB announce his passing on May 24, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB. Born in New Castle NB on March 10, 1941, he was a son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Babineau) Breau.

He is survived by his wife: Annette of Pennfield NB; son: John (Lisa) of Pennfield NB; daughters: Kelly of Oshawa ON and Angela of St. George NB; sisters: Evelyn Charest (Roger), Eileen Bryan, Wanda Deveau and Linda Powell (Doug); brother; Ronnie (Carolyn); grandsons: Adam (Carlie), Christopher (Danielle) and Camden; great-grandsons: Liam, Owen and Ian; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son: Donald; one grandson: Tyler; sister: Elisabeth; and brother: Leo.

Prior to retirement Raymond worked for Connors Brothers Ltd as a lift truck driver for many years. In past years Raymond was an avid Baseball player as well as a coach and an umpire. He loved fishing, hunting and watching sports on TV. Raymond always looked forward to visits from his grandchildren who meant the world to him.

His family wishes to express great gratitude to all the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital for all their exceptional dedication and compassionate care.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Stella Maris Catholic Church, Blacks Harbour NB on Monday at 1:00 pm with Father Rolando Suplido officiating followed by the interment in the parish cemetery. In Raymond's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
