Timothy "Timmy" Nicholas Thorne

The passing of Timothy Nicholas Thorne occurred unexpectedly at his residence in Canal, NB on May 4, 2019.

Born in Bethel, NB on October 26, 1963, he was a son of Clyde and Anna (Kernighan) Thorne.

A loving father, grandfather, son, and brother, Timmy will be sadly missed by his children: Melanie Thorne (Christopher Tate) of Grand Manan NB, Daniel Thorne (Brittany Waycott) of Rollingdam NB, and Brandon Thorne of Canal, NB; his parents: Clyde and Anna Thorne of Canal NB; his brother: Ronald Thorne of Canal NB; his grandchildren: Hailie Thorne and Teagen Tate of Grand Manan NB; his “little sis”: Sarah Baker; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Anthony Thorne.

Timmy spent many years working as a clamdigger. He loved spending time outdoors and particularly enjoyed hunting and fishing. Skilled in carpentry, he took pleasure in working with his hands. Timmy loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

At Timmy’s request there will be no visitation or service. In his memory donations to the New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
