Clyde Willis Cook

1929-2019

Clyde Willis Cook
At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on April 9, 2019, with family at his side, Mr. Clyde W. Cook, husband of the late Jean (Hubbard) Cook passed away peacefully. Born in Back Bay NB on June 11, 1929, he was a son of the late David and Flossie (Harris) Cook. A loving uncle to several nieces and nephews which he loved dearly and will be sadly missed by all. He was predeceased by his brothers: Clarence, Raymond, Carroll, Herbert and Hugh. Clyde was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Prior to his retirement, Clyde was a fisherman and a school bus driver for many years. He enjoyed working with his hands and loved sitting by his wood stove.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Ridgeview Manor for the kind and compassionate care they provided our uncle and also all of his caregivers. We would also like to thank the staff at the Charlotte County Hospital for their care in his final hours.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. In keeping with Clyde's wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will take place at the St. George Rural Cemetery at a later date. In Clyde's memory, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
