John "Jack" Brown

It is with great sadness that the family of John "Jack" Brown announce his unexpected passing that occurred at his winter home in St Petersburg, Florida on March 15, 2019. Born in 1947, he was the son of the late Trueman and Irene (Whitman) Brown. He was an electrical contractor for many years, retiring in 2008. He moved to Breadalbane in 2012. After he retired he spent his winters in Florida, where he was greatly loved and will be missed.

He is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 50 years, Patricia (Spear) Brown, daughters, Jacqueline (Darren) Derrah, Grand Bay, Wendi Barrett, Rothesay and son Adam Brown, Saint John. He also leaves five grandchildren, Brittany and Emily Derrah, Sidney and Mitchell Barrett and Ethan White of England. Also survived by a sister, Nancy (Jim) Hope, Quispamsis and one brother Ted (Ann) Brown of Penticton, BC., several nieces and nephews and cousins, Brother-in-law, Vernon (BFF-Colleen) Spear, sisters in law, Sharon Hoyt, Lynda (Jim) McIntyre.

Visitation will be held at the St George Baptist Church, Main St, St George, NB on Saturday, March 30, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will take place at the church on Sunday, March 31 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family have requested donations be made to the St George Food Bank.
