Seretha Elizabeth Munn
The passing of Seretha Elizabeth Munn (Anthony), wife of the late Walter Irvine Munn of Blacks Harbour NB occurred on March 10, 2019 at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour NB with her loving family at her side. Born in Wilson's Beach NB on May 30, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth "Bessie" (Fletcher) Anthony. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister, Seretha will be sadly missed by her sons: Johnny (Linda) Munn of Blacks Harbour NB, David (Dianne) Munn of Pocologan NB, Tony (Kim) Munn of Pennfield NB, Ronnie (Lori) Munn of Pennfield NB and Phillip (Shelley) Munn of Fredericton NB; daughters: Lillian Guitard and Janice (Danny) Mullins both of Blacks Harbour NB; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; siblings: Gordon Anthony of Saint John NB, Ruth Beney of Pennfield NB, Lillian Justason of Nerepis NB and Mary (Stephen) Boyd of Alberta; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Seretha was predeceased by daughters: Lorraine Mahar and Beverley Aucoin; one granddaughter: Melissa Munn; sons-in-law: Edgar Guitard, Claude Aucoin, Stephen Mahar and Charles Johnson.

Prior to retirement, Seretha worked for Connor's Bros. in Blacks Harbour. Anyone who knew Seretha knew how much the Lord and her family meant to her. She was a great cook and always looked forward to her children and grandchildren stopping in for a visit and a hug. Active in her church, she was long time member of the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Blacks Harbour and served many years as a Sunday School Teacher. A kind, caring, generous and selfless soul, Seretha will be truly missed not only by her loving family, but by others in the community who were blessed to have known her.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Blacks Harbour NB with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The service will be held at the church on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Donald McCarty officiating. The interment will take place in the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring. In Seretha's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
