Orlo Pervis Murray

At Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen NB on March 4, 2019, Mr. Orlo Pervis Murray, beloved husband to Bonnie (Sawler)(Hooper) Murray of Caithness NB. Born at Caithness NB on August 19, 1924 he was a son of the late Samuel and Kathleen (Barry) Murray.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, Orlo is survived by his loving wife Bonnie, his children: Ellen (Duane) Buchanan of Bonny River NB, Donna (Brian) Norman of Canal NB, Betty Buchanan (Marc) Blanchard of Quispamsis NB, Gordon (Debbie) Murray of Oak Bay NB and Trudy (Edgar) Daigle of St. Stephen NB, stepchildren: Beverly (Paul) Ingram of St. GeorgeNB and Horace (Rossyln) Hooper of Seeleys Cove NB, 17 grandchildren and a number of great and Great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family having been predeceased by two sons; Arnold and Wayne, stepson Danny Hooper, brothers; Clifford, Manford and William and sisters; Bertha Frye and Edna Kinney.

Prior to his retirement Orlo worked for over 30 years as a truck driver- plow operater for the Department of Transportation. He enjoyed being at home and was known as an avid gardener as well as always up for a good game of 63's or horseshoes. He attended the St. George Baptist Church for a number of years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium with visiting on Wednesday from 6-9 pm. The service will be held at the St George Baptist Church on Thursday at 2pm with Pastor Jason Hooper officiating. Interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring. In Orlo's memory, donations to the Lincourt Manor or a charity of the donors choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
