Dawn Rosalie Morehouse
1937-2018
At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on October 25,
2018, Dawn Rosalie (Leslie) Morehouse, wife of Robert Morehouse of
Canal NB. Born at St. George NB on March 17, 1937, she was a daughter
of the late Royal and Grace (Seeley) Leslie. A loving wife, mother,
grandmother and cousin, in addition to her husband Robert, she is
survived by one son: Chris (Colleen) Morehouse of Canal NB; two
daughters: Angela Morehouse (Wade McVicar) of Back Bay NB and Kimberly
Morehouse (Larry James) of Red Deer AB; grandchildren: Eric Cooke,
Melissa Morehouse, Joelle (Jasen) Arbeau, Shandore Morehouse, Adam
Mcvicar and Mitchell Morehouse; great grandchildren: Skylar, Bryar,
Hunter M, Landen, Liliana, Taylor and Hunter C as well as several
cousins and her fur baby "Ginger". In addition to her
parents she was predeceased by her son Gregory Morehouse.
Prior to her retirement, Dawn began working at a young age for Connors Brothers Limited in Back Bay before moving to Kingston ON where she worked for several years in the dry cleaning business. Following her time in Kingston, Dawn and Bob moved back east where Dawn's main priority became raising her family. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, camping, traveling and she especially loved her road trips to Alberta as well as camping at St. Andrews. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. In keeping with Dawn's wishes, there will be private family services held. In Dawn's memory, donations to NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, The Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
