Denise Ann Gaudet-Comeau

Unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on October 11, 2018, Denise Ann Gaudet-Comeau, wife of Roger J. Comeau of Pennfield NB. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on August 25, 1964, she was a daughter of the late P. Raymond and Madeline (Stuart) Gaudet. A loving wife, mother and sister, Denise is survived by her husband: Roger Comeau of Pennfield NB; children: Amanda (Christina) Comeau of Saint John NB and Rheal Comeau of Pennfield NB; her sister: Tammy (Clay) Campbell of Digdeguash NB; her brother: Robert (Kristen) Gaudet of Pennfield NB; several cousins.

Prior to illness, Denise worked as a mail carrier for many years and she once served as secretary for the Stella Maris Catholic Church. She was an active member with the Lions Club in Pennfield and was always willing to help out with their annual telethon. Denise loved to knit, talk on the phone, keep in contact with her family and friends on the computer and enjoyed being in the company of her family. An avid animal lover, she had a soft spot for dogs and cats. When able, she enjoyed watching the classics on TV, such as MASH and the Waltons. Her humor, strong will and caring nature will be missed by her family.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the funeral home with visiting on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Father Rolando Suplido officiating. In Denise's memory, donations to NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Saint John Chapter of CARMA would be appreciated by the family.
