Marjorie Gertrude Moses

The passing of Marjorie Gertrude (Hatt) Moses, wife of Malcolm "Macky" Eugene Moses, occurred on September 30, 2018 at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour NB with her family by her side. Born at Lake Utopia NB on April 9, 1935, she was a daughter to the late Wellington and Ethel (Anderson) Hatt. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Marjorie is survived by her husband: Macky Moses of Blacks Harbour NB; sons: Mark (Sandra) Moses of Musquash NB and Jason (Christina) Moses of Pennfield NB; grandchildren: Grady Moses and Emma Moses; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Arnold, Aubrey and Sherman Hatt; sisters: Pearl McHugh, Edith Kelson, Laura Christie, Hilda Christie and Alice Hall. Marjorie was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Prior to retirement, Marjorie worked for Connor's Bros. in Blacks Harbour for many years. A true people person, she loved to socialize and could often be found at Tim's with Macky in tow. Marjorie was an amazing cook who often made enough to feed an army and in her spare time enjoyed sitting down to watch her soaps. Her warmth and smile is going to be greatly missed by her family.

The family would like to take this time to thank the nurses and staff of the Fundy Nursing Home for their care and compassion shown towards Marjorie during her stay.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Visiting will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at Noon leading into the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm with Rev. Canon Caleb Twinamastiko officiating, followed by the interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. In Marjorie's memory, donations to the Fundy Nursing Home or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
