Marion Elizabeth Sellars

The passing of Marion Elizabeth (Ingersoll) Sellars, wife the late Gordon LeRoy Sellars, occurred at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour NB on July 30, 2018. Born on Grand Manan NB on September 11, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Lucy (Dakin) Ingersoll. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Marion is survived by two sons: John (Linda) Sellars and Donald (Colleen) Sellars both of Pennfield NB; one daughter: Susan Sellars (Barry Daley) of Pennfield, NB; six grandchildren: Jodi, Dianne, Shawn, Nicole, Kevin and Laura; nine great-grandchildren; Jordon, Brittany, Dustin, Bradley, Dexter, Hayley, Hayden, Savannah and Summer and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Marion was predeceased by her brothers: Gilbert Ingersoll and Grimmer Ingersoll and sisters: Thelma Benson, Frances Foster, Rev. Myrtle Ingersoll and Seta Greenlaw. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Prior to retirement, Marion worked as a personal care attendant at Collingwood Special Care Home in Pennfield. She was a long time member of the Pennfield Baptist Church.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 12:00-1:00 pm. The Funeral Service will start after visiting at 1:00 pm with her nephews Rev. Perry and David Ingersoll officiating. Interment in Pennfield Rural Cemetery will directly follow the Funeral Service. In Marion's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
