Alda Marie Boudreau

At the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews NB on July 28, 2018, Mrs. Alda Marie (Belliveau) Boudreau, wife of the late George Henry Boudreau, formerly of Blacks Harbour NB. Born at Meteghan Station NS on August 10, 1928 she was a daughter of the late Simon and Mary Eugenie (Comeau) Belliveau.

A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Alda is survived by her sons: Emile (Judy) Boudreau and Ernest Boudreau both of Pennfield NB; her daughters: Annette Boudreau (Raymond Breau) and Lorraine (Richard) Hooper all of Pennfield NB; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; her sisters: Yvonne Gaudet of Hantsport NS and Evelyn Theriault of Pennfield NB; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, George, she was predeceased by brothers: Basil, Edward, Arcade and Emile; and her sisters: Obeline Belliveau, Katherine Myatt, Marguerite Gaudet and Cecile Gaudet.

Prior to her retirement, Alda worked for several years at Connors Brothers in Blacks Harbour. She was a faithful member of Stella Maris Catholic Church as well as a long time member of the Catholic Womens League. Alda enjoyed quilting and was known for baking beautiful cakes for all occasions. She also was a lover of flowers and children and especially loved visits from her family and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

The family would like to take this time to thank the Staff of the Passamaquoddy Lodge for all their care and compassion shown towards mom during her stay. You will be fondly remembered with deep gratitude.

Resting at the the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Monday from 1-4 and 6-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Stella Maris Catholic Church in Blacks Harbour on Tuesday at 11;00 am with Father Rolando Suplido officiating followed by interment in the church cemetery. In Alda's memory, donations to NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
