Alice Pauline  Young
At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on July 23, 2018, Mrs. Alice Pauline Young, beloved partner of Hazen F. Wilcox of Utopia NB. Born at Blacks Harbour NB on January 14, 1932 she was a daughter of the late Charles Austin and Vivian D.(Hamilton) Goodeill.

A loving companion, mother, grandmother and sister, Alice is survived by her long time partner Hazen Wilcox, her son; David Young (Linda Fournier) of Pennfield NB, her grandsons: Nick Maillet of Halifax NS, Russell Young of Blacks Harbour NB, Eric Young of Utopia NB, brother; Larry (Donna) Goodeill of Lepreau NB, sisters: Lillian Spinney of St. George NB and Frances (Blair) Thompson of Bayside NB as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Cyril Young, daughter; Nancy Young and her son Donald Young.

Prior to her retirement, Alice worked for several years for Connors Brothers as a packer. She then became a full time homemaker and an avid knitter and quilter and was always known as a hard worker. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB from where the service will be held on Thursday at 11 am followed by interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. Visiting on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8pm. In Alice's memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
