Royce was a man of great faith and a lifelong member of Sea View Full Gospel Church in Back Bay, where he served as Chairman of the Board for many years and was a dedicated Prayer Warrior. A carpenter by trade, he owned his own company, Royce Hanley General Contracting Ltd. and has built many homes in the area. For the last five years, he enjoyed spending time in the garage wood-working and hanging out with his brothers. After retirement, he loved his gazebo and fishing at his camp at McDougall Lake and he loved spending quality time with his family there. He enjoyed singing with his brothers and cousins "sisters" during many church functions being known as The Hanley Boys and Girls. Royce was very social and liked going with his brothers each morning to Tim's where they met with the coffee club and many friends. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his family.

Special thanks to the Eastern Charlotte Extra Mural Nurses, Dr. Natarajan and Dr. Burnell, the staff at the Charlotte County Hospital Palliative Care and the great support from the Charlotte County Cancer Society. Your care and support will always be remembered with great gratitude.
