Jeremy Floyd Barrett

It is with broken hearts that we announce that our special angel went to his heavenly home on April 23, 2018; he was surrounded at home by his Dad and Mom, Tommy and Janice, his favourite sister, Terri Leigh Hooper (Jamie); and his special brother, B.J. Barrett.

Jeremy has two nephews Jaycobb (Kahli) and Hunter Hooper, aunts, uncles, friends and too many cousins to mention.

He also formed a special love and unbreakable bond for which his family will be eternal grateful, that is his care giver Heather Wright (and her dog Remi, Jeremy's best buddy).

His second family that he loved dearly was his friends at the Community Living at St. George. His longest and truest friends were Tommy King and Rosie.

Jeremy loved simple things: sports, movies, food, balloons, his drives, shopping, Christmas and Birthdays. Jeremy was a gift straight from Heaven. He taught us so many lessons, especially unconditional love. Sometimes we make life so complicated; to Jeremy it was a smile or a laugh, a song, dance or hug.

He will always be our sunshine and will never be forgotten. Though you are now gone, you proved that God does not make mistakes. He knew you would be the one to fight this battle on your own terms and won. We are proud to call you son and brother. Thank you Jeremy.

Jeremy was predeceased by his maternal grandparents June and Floyd Shaw; paternal grandparents Carmina and Russell Barrett; and special cousin Candy Jill Cook; aunt Peggy Barrett; uncle Murray Barrett.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the Sea View Full Gospel Church, Back Bay NB with visiting on Wednesday from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The service will be held at the church on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. As per the family's request, absolutely no flowers please. Donations in Jeremy's memory can be made to the Eastern Charlotte Extra Mural Program or to the Community Living, St. George NB and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
