Mihai Mitica

The passing of Mihai Mitica, husband of Violeta Alexandru, of St. George NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on April 18, 2018 with his family by his side. Born in Romania on March 18, 1972 he was the son of Veronica Mitica and the late Constantin Mitica. A loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, Mihai is survived by his loving wife: Violeta of St. George NB; daughter: Christina Alexandru (Danut Iuda) of St. George NB; son: Andrei Mitica also of St. George NB; step-children: Marian and Niev both of Romania; grandchildren: Antonia and Daria of Romania, Maria and Bianca of St. George NB and Patrick of Romania; his mother: Veronica Mitica of Romania; his sisters: Marianna and Lilianna both of Romania; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB where visiting will be held on Sunday from 4-9 pm. In keeping with Mihai's wishes, he will be returned back to his home in Romania for burial at a later date. In Mahai's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
