Howard Leland Mahar
After graduating from Blacks Harbour High School, Howard went into the Air Force and served as a Peace Keeper in Egypt. Upon leaving the service, he worked for Irving Oil for over 25 years. He enjoyed going on walks with his K9 companion, Brendel, playing old timers Hockey, baking, cooking, hunting, fishing, reading and gardening. Howard really enjoyed the company of others and could often be found meeting up with his buddies at the food court in the mall. He was a Witness in the Truro Congregation and he will be missed by all who knew him.
