Edna Mae Kinney
At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on April 6, 2018, Mrs. Edna Mae (Murray) Kinney of Canal NB, wife of the late Lorne Charles Kinney. Born at Caithness NB on October 2, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Kathleen (Barry) Murray.

A loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, she is survived by her daughter; Nancy (Mike) Shields of Alvin Texas, her sons: Paul (Sheri) Kinney and Clifford Kinney both of Canal NB, grandchildren: Tammy, Tanya, Nick, Sue, Tasha and Jeff, nine great grandchildren, her brother; Orlo (Bonnie) Murray of St. Stephen NB, special friends: Pat Munn and Sandy Patterson, her loyal feline companion Fluffy as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband Lorne, she was predeceased by a daughter Linda, brothers: Manford, Clifford and William and her sister Bertha Frye.

Edna worked in her early years for Connors Brothers but mostly worked at home caring for her family. She had a strong work ethic and took pride in everything she did. Edna enjoyed cooking and was an avid knitter but always found time to keep up on her soaps. She had a special place in her heart for her family and looked forward to spending time with them especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Resting at St. Marks Anglican Church, Main Street St. George from where the service will be held on Tuesday at 2 pm with Rev. Mary Ann Langmaid officiating. Interment will be in the St. George Rural Cemetery at a later date. Visiting at the church on Monday from 6-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charlotte County S.P.C.A or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium Limited.
