Arthur Cedric James "Jimmy" Hill
The passing of Arthur Cedric James "Jimmy" Hill occurred unexpectedly in Beaver Harbour NB on April 2, 2018. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on March 3, 1955, he was the son of Glenna (Foot) Leavitt and the late Cedric A. Hill. A loving father, grandfather, son, brother and companion, Jimmy is survived by three daughters: Amber Hill (Matthew Cook) of Breadalbane NB, Gena Graham (Gordon) of Halifax NS and Jennifer Hill of Limekiln NB; grandchildren: Noah and Eden; his mother: Glenna Leavitt (Gaston) of Back Bay NB; sisters: Carol Ann Shaw (Wayne) of L'Etete NB and Joan Crocker of Pennfield NB; step-brother: Charles Leavitt (Lori) of St. Stephen NB; his companion: Yolanda Blizzard of Bonny River NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father: Cedric Hill.

Jimmy was known as a hard worker who has worked with True North Salmon for many years. He was very sociable and enjoyed striking up a conversation with anyone he came across. He was an avid gardener and liked spending time tinkering in his shop. Jimmy will always be loved and remembered by his family and friends.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the Sea View Full Gospel Church, Back Bay NB with visiting on Wednesday from 6-9 pm. The service will be held at the church on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. The interment will take place at the Blacks Harbour Community Cemetery at a later date. In Jimmy's memory, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
