Henry Everett Robbins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Henry Everett Robbins, husband of Eva G. (Monaghan) Robbins of Second Falls NB, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on March 1, 2018. Born in Bonny River NB on November 13, 1936 he was the son of the late George and Stella (Goodrich) Robbins. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, in addition to his wife, Eva, he is survived by his children: Ricky (Connie) Robbins of Second Falls NB, Cathy (John) Scammell of Scammellville NB and Brenda (Gregory) Lee of Second Falls NB; grandchildren: Jeff (Alisha), Christopher (Mandy), Jillian (Matt), Ryan (Brittany) and Eric; great-grandchildren: Brittany, Dustin, Kohan, Henry, Charlie and Sebastian; great-great-grandson: Simon; and many cousins and friends.

Prior to retirement, Henry was a proud member of Local #213, Plumber and Pipefitters. In his later years, he ran his own blueberry business and enjoyed keeping busy. An avid outdoorsman, Henry loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time at the camp. Henry was also known to spend many hours tending to his garden. He will be sadly missed by his family and those who knew him.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Visiting will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A graveside service will be held at the Second Falls Baptist Cemetery, Second Falls NB on Monday at 2:00pm. In Henry's memory, donations to the Kidney Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
