Muriel Edith Justason
The passing of Muriel Edith (Woodbury) Justason, formerly of St. George NB and Saint John NB, occurred on January 15, 2018 at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB. Born in Utopia NB on December 4, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Amy (White) Woodbury.

A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Muriel leaves to mourn one son: Stanley (Velda) Justason of Woodstock ON; grandchildren: Michael Justason, Scott Justason and Anthony Justason all of Ontario, Robert Justason and Dorina Justason both of Saint John NB; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Muriel was predeceased by one son: Leonard Justason; one brother: Frederick Woodbury; one sister: Pearl McKillop.

Muriel had lived many years on Vancouver Island and worked in various sectors before returning to New Brunswick. She lived in St. George for a short number of years prior to moving to Saint John. In Saint John, she was a member of St. Lukes Anglican Church. She was active as a lay reader, was a member of the Anglican Cursillo Movement and was also a member of St. Lukes Healing Ministry.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 pm. The service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mary Ann Langmaid officiating. The interment will be held in the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring. In Muriel's memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
