Irene Susan Stewart

Unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on December 22, 2017, Irene Susan (Mahar) Stewart, wife of the late Millidge Carl Stewart, of Saint John NB and formerly of Pennfield NB. Born in Pennfield NB on October 18, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Matilda (Erdis) Mahar. Irene is survived by one sister: June Kingston of Utopia NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Irene was predeceased by her siblings: Robert Mahar, Mae Mahar, Tom Mahar, Helen Waycott, Ann Mahar, Jack Mahar, Blanche Mahar and Marion Mahar.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. There will be no visitation. The Funeral Service will be held at the St. George Funeral Home Chapel, St. George NB on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Reg Ward officiating. The interment will be held at the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring. In Irene's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
