A. Stuart Hawkins
At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on November 11, 2017, Mr. A. Stuart Hawkins, beloved husband of Dianne (Scammell) Hawkins of Pennfield NB.

Born at Saint John NB on July 28, 1945 he was a son of the late Alfred and Mildred (Stuart) Hawkins.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his wife Dianne, he is survived by his daughters: Lynn (Brock) Tucker of L'etete NB and Katherine Hawkins (Wayne Cheng) of Toronto ON, his beloved grandchildren: Emily, Mackenzie, Morgan and Miles, his sister; Carole Hawkins of Richmond Hill ON, brothers: Barrie Hawkins of Richmond Hill ON and Dwight (Jaye) Hawkins of Fredericton NB as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister Charlotte Gail Hawkins.

Prior to his illness Stuart was a truck driver by trade having worked for numerous employers including Irving and Blacks Harbour Transfer. Stuart always looked forward to the annual blueberry harvest and devoted his vacation time every year. His grandchildren gave him his greatest enjoyment with their visits and special times. He was also a member of the St. George Masonic Lodge #12 F&AM. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who Knew him. The family would like to thank all the staff of the St. Joseph`s Hospital CAM unit for all their kindness and care given to Stuart and his family throughout their long stay. It was very much appreciated.

In keeping with the family wishes there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A celebration of Stuarts life will be held at the St. George Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 2pm with Pastor Gordon Cooke officiating followed by Interment in the St. George`s Catholic Cemetery.
In Stuarts memory, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of New Brunswick, Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
