Zetta E. Eldridge

At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on October 16, 2017, Zetta Ethel (Morse) Eldridge, wife of the late Douglas Franklin Eldridge of Beaver Harbour NB. Born on Grand Manan NB on March 15, 1924, she was a daughter of the late John and Estelle (Mahar) Morse. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Zetta is survived by one son: Ralph Eldridge of St. George NB; one daughter: Estelle Eldridge of Beaver Harbour NB; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister: Patricia Dunston of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Douglas, she was predeceased by one son: Brian; one sister: Juanita Trecartin.

Zetta was a people person who enjoyed talking to any one she met and loved to spend her time with family and friends. She was an avid nature lover who enjoyed watching the deer and the birds. She was a longtime member of the Beaver Harbour Baptist Church and lifetime member of the Eastern Charlotte Lions Club in Pennfield.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the funeral home with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held at the Beaver Harbour Baptist Church, Beaver Harbour NB on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Calvin Hood officiating, followed by the interment in Pennfield Rural Cemetery. In Zetta's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
