Orinda Marion Babineau

At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on August 10, 2017, Mrs. Orinda Marion (Cooke) Babineau, beloved wife of Joseph "Joey" Babineau of Pennfield NB.

Born at Blacks Harbour NB on September 8, 1959 she was a daughter of the late Allen and Mildred (Bradford) Cooke.

A loving wife, aunt and friend, in addition to her beloved Joey, Orinda is survived by brother in law; Fred "Bubbie" Hanley and several aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers; Lance and Jeff and her sister Wanda Hanley.

Orinda was a graduate of Eastern Charlotte Regional School class of 1977. She worked for over 30 years at Connors Brothers Can And Cover Division and later the Ardagh Group.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Wednesday from 6-9 pm. A celebration of her life will be held from the funeral home chapel on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm. In Orinda's memory, donations to A Living Memorial, the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
