Connie Louise Hatt

1962-2017

Connie Louise Hatt
Unexpectedly, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on August 6, 2017, with her husband and family by her side, Connie Louise (Haddon) Hatt, wife of David Reid Hatt of Back Bay NB. Born in St. Stephen NB on February 2, 1962, she was a daughter of Rev. H. David Haddon and the late Shirley Ann (Richardson) Haddon. A loving wife, sister, aunt and friend, in addition to her beloved husband, David, Connie is survived by her father: Rev. H. David (Allyson) Haddon of L'Etete NB; sisters: Joan (George) Richard of Scoudouc NB and Vicki Haddon (Ross Norman) of St. George NB; nieces: Melissa Haddon, Julie Richard and Jessica Richard; nephews: Shane Haddon, Matthew Haddon and Camden Hatt; one uncle: Richard Richardson of Richardson NB; aunts: Audrey Cline of St. Stephen NB and Marjorie Leeman of Fairhaven NB and many cousins and friends. Connie was predeceased by her mother, Shirley Haddon.

Connie was always a very creative person and her passion for this creativity finally found its home in her jewelry business, "Echoes of Erin" with a store, Water Street Fine Crafts, located in St. Andrews. On her path to that business, which she poured herself into, she operated a wedding cake business, a porcelain doll business and worked in a flower shop. Her line of jewelry was unique with many Celtic influences. Connie loved all things Celtic; books, music, history, etc. She was well loved, well known, was kind, compassionate and loving, yet she was a very private person and kept a lot of her life private. She loved her fur babies, "the Newf's", Morgan, Rachel and Travis. Connie was also a very active member of the St. George Church of Christ where her father has pastored for many years. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Saint John Regional Hospital for all their care and compassion shown to Connie over these last few months.

Resting at the St.George Funeral Home & Crematorium Limited, 26 Portage Street St. George NB with visiting at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-9 pm. The service will be held on Thursday at 2 pm from the Church of Christ St. George with Lou Outhouse officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Charlotte County Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
