1934-2017

Leo Roy Rhynold
At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on April 20, 2017, Mr. Leo Roy Rhynold, beloved husband of Twilah (Bradford) Rhynold of St. Stephen NB and formerly of Beaver Harbour NB.

Born at Philips Harbour NS on July 5, 1934 he was a son of the late Baker and Alexis (Penny) Rhynold.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his wife Twilah, he is survived by his sons; Leigh Rhynold of Oak Bay NB and Brock (Gina) Rhynold of Pennfield NB, two daughters; Darlene (Jerry) Syrnyk of Edmonton AB and Stephanie (Ahin) Bose of Oakville ON, nine grandchildren, his brother; Leonard (Valerie) Rhynold of Mulgrave NS, one sister; Judy (Jamie) Grant of Guysborough NS as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, his daughter; Tina Paul, grandson Stephen Koteff and brothers; Wayne, Earl, Basil and Havlock and sisters; Beatrice Moss and Eva MacDonald.

Prior to Leo's retirement he had been employed at Connors Brothers for a number of years and later Heritage Salmon. He was a sports fan and in his earlier years played hockey for Beaver Harbour Aces as well as other local teams . He was also an avid outdoorsman and loved being on the water when he could. Leo also loved spending time with his family as well as serving his Lord especially at the church he helped to build in Pennfield. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium, 26 Portage Street St. George NB with visiting on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held from the Original Spoken Word Full Gospel Assembly, 823 Turnpike Road, Pennfield NB on Sunday at 5 pm with Pastor Neil Conley officiating followed by interment at Blacks Harbour Community Cemetery. In Leo's memory, donations to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
