As a wife, Violet’s love for her late husband and soulmate Irvin knew no bounds and was often said to be a testament to lifelong commitment and dedication. She shared a special relationship with her daughter Angela and son Andrew. To her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, she was known as Ging.

An avid animal lover, Violet loved her little dog Pug as well as watching birds and deer roam through her backyard. She also loved being around people and enjoyed spending time with people in her building at Brunswick Court seniors’ complex. Ging was also famously known for her lobster chowder and coconut cream pie. In her younger years she also enjoyed camping and curling with friends.

Violet Green, Ging to those closest to her, will be fondly and forever remembered by all those she met and whose lives she touched for her humility, selflessness, generosity, kindness and smile.
