Robert "Bob" Alan Cochrane
With great sadness the family of Robert "Bob" Alan Cochrane, 69, of Lake Utopia, N.B., announces his sudden passing at home on November 7, 2016.

Bob is survived by his wife, Mary (Fiander) of nearly 48 years, son Kevin (Tracy) of Port Hope, ON and two grandsons who were his special boys, Daniel and Andrew; his brother Dennis of Moncton NB as well as an aunt and several cousins.

Bob was sadly predeceased by his youngest son Trevor (2012), his parents, Hervey and Helen Cochrane of Moncton, and his step-mother Joyce Cochrane.

For over 30 years, Bob worked for SCOTIABANK at various branches from British Columbia to St. Catherine's, ON to several places in New Brunswick from Moncton, Sussex, Saint John and Florenceville and finally retiring as Manager of the St. George Branch. He then acted as manager of the Fundy Weir Fisherman's Association from 1999-2012.

Bob was an avid sportsman, playing from one sporting season to the next, whether it be hockey, curling, golf, or his all-time favourite, fastball. Bobby "Iron-Arm" Cochrane pitched an amazing 2 perfect games in his pitching career, in 1977 and 1978.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Friends are invited to join the family on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 2:00 - 3:45 pm at the Magaguadavic Centre, 11 J.O. Spinney Drive, St. George N.B. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 pm officiated by Archdeacon John Matheson at the St. George Catholic Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Road, Upper L'Etang, N.B. If you wish, remembrances can be made to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, Charlotte County Cancer, or to a charity of one's choice.
