Loretta "Lori" Elizabeth Hill
Surrounded by her family, the passing of Lori Hill, wife of Daniel "Danny" Hill occurred on October 6, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on February 21, 1959 in St. Stephen to the late Alvin and Lela (Whittier) Young. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, in addition to her husband Danny, Lori is survived by one son: Scott (Sara) Hill of Pennfield; one daughter, Amy Chevarie of Pennfield; grandchildren: Emily, Isaac, Olivia and James; brother, Roger (Mary) Young of Canal; sisters: Anita 'Young' Hawkins of Pennfield and Sheila (Hal) Hardy of Fort McMurray; brother-in-law, Burt Bayers of Pennfield and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Lori was predeceased by her parents and infant daughter, Trina Rose.

She worked for Connors Brothers and then Cookes Aquaculture in the accounting department for over 27 years. Lori was a member of Pennfield Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed knitting and cross-stitching. Lori loved being outdoors; camping, hiking and playing guitar around the bonfire. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt; above all Lori adored her grandchildren.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Visitation for Lori will be held at the Pennfield Baptist Church on Sunday October 9, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from the church on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Pennfield Rural Cemetery following the service. For those who wish remembrances to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
