Marjorie Lee Mitchell
At the Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen on September 25, 2016, Marjorie Lee (Pendleton) Mitchell, wife of the late Hazen "Bud" Mitchell of Lord's Cove NB. Born in Calais ME on July 14, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Daisy (Stuart) Pendleton. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marjorie is survived by her two sons: Brian (Jackie) Mitchell of Fairhaven NB and Danny (Debbie) Mitchell of Saint John NB; grandchildren: Brandon (Cari), Shannon (Terry), Justin (Desiree), Joey (Mandy), Jill (Norman), Trent and Shayla; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Bud, she was predeceased by one son: Michael Mitchell; one brother: Kingsley Pendleton. Marjorie was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Prior to retirement, Marjorie worked as a secretary at the Deer Island School for many years. Always active in her community, she was a Brownie Leader for many years and was a longtime member of the Lord's Cove Church of Christ where she played the Piano, Directed the Choir, was a Sunday School Teacher and was also involved with the Mission Group. She truly loved her family and especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, being the family seamstress, baking and cooking. Her loving smile and warm heart will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George. Visitation will be held at the Lord's Cove Church of Christ, Lord's Cove NB on Tuesday from 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from the church on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jonathan Hatt and Rev. Glenn Cox officiating followed by the interment in the Fairhaven Community Cemetery, Calder's Head. In Marjorie's memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer or to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
