Jennifer Louise McGarrigle

Unexpectedly at her residence on September 7, 2016, Ms. Jennifer Louise McGarrigle of Dieppe NB and formerly of Blacks Harbour. Born at Blacks Harbour NB on September 2, 1968 she was a daughter of Gerald A. McGarrigle and Paula M. (Hunt) McGarrigle. A loving mother, daughter, sister and friend she is survived by her daughter: Selina Imperiale of Dieppe NB; her father: Gerald McGarrigle of Blacks Harbour NB; her mother: Paula McGarrigle of Fredericton NB; brother: Brian McGarrigle (Tobi) of Back Bay NB; sisters: Melissa McGarrigle of Memramcook NB and Stephanie (Darin) Storey of Fredericton NB; uncles: Wesley (Pamela) McGarrigle of Milltown NB and Bruce Hunt of Concord NH; and aunt: Susan Randlett of Warner NH as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jennifer was a homemaker and stay at home mom for the last couple of years. Prior to that Jennifer received education in both the nursing and paralegal fields. She always craved knowledge. As a nurse she worked both in nursing and mental health facilities. She was known as a dedicated nurse who went above her official duties either staying after her shift to comfort the people left alone with no family or the dying. Her caring nature went beyond her career as she was known to also care for family members whenever she was needed. Jennifer was also known as a very caring member of her family, always concerned for them and offering her time. She was proud of both her family heritages and enjoyed both telling and hearing family stories. Jennifer loved to read a good book and was an avid sports fan, especially baseball, and was a lover of music. She will also be remembered as a prankster and for playing jokes on everyone.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Saturday from 2 - 3:30 and 6:30-9 pm. The service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in the Pennfield Rural Cemetery. In Jennifer's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
