Mary Evangeline Justason

With great sadness we announce the death of Mary Evangeline (Nickerson) Justason, wife of the late Ronald S. Justason , following a brief illness.

Born at Blacks Harbour NB she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Dorothy (Theriault) Nickerson.

She will sadly be missed by her loving children: Dorothy (David) Devlin and their family; Tara Devlin- Huys (Mark) and children; Sam, Skyler, Grace, Brodie and Jack and Erin and Brad Devlin, Anne (Maynard) Grant and their family; Suzanne (Ryan) Armstrong with children; Sara and Jana and Amy (Jon) Clark, Ronald (Twylla) Justason and their family; Jenna Justason (Mark) with daughter Brea and Ronnie Jr.( Natasha) and Helene Justason (Kevin Lewis) and their family; Julie Wood (Tom) and Kathy Kohlhoff (Mike). In addition to her parents and husband Ronald, she was predeceased by children in their infancy; Paul and Peggy.

We will remember her as a caring mother whose family came first above all. Mary was a long time member of the St. George Baptist Church who also served as church organist for many years as well as the St. George Funeral Home. Her strong faith in God was of great comfort to her always. She enjoyed being in the comfort of her home where she was always very content. She also loved quilting, knitting as well as gardening and feeding the birds. she will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.

In keeping with Mary's wishes, there will be no visiting or service. A private graveside service will be held at the St. George Rural Cemetery at a later time. In Mary's memory, donations to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
