Marie-Rose Lillian Comeau

Peacefully with her family by her side, at the Stella-Maris-De-Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent NB on September 1, 2016, Marie-Rose Lillian (Levesque) Comeau, wife of Norbert J. Comeau of Richibucto NB and formerly of Blacks Harbour NB. Born in Edmunston NB on August 28, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Elie and Edmay (Girard) Levesque. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Marie-Rose is survived by her loving husband, Norbert; one son: Robert Comeau of Blacks Harbour NB; one daughter: Eva Firlotte (Dennis) of L`Etete NB; chosen daughter: Maryanne Savoy of Nova Scotia; grandchildren: Jacob Firlotte, Alisha Comeau and Austin Comeau; sisters: Gaetanne (Clement) Comeau, Denise Cyr and Lise-Anne "Fanfan" Levesque (Louis-Paul) all of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska NB; brothers: Gerard Levesque (Linda) of Grand Falls NB and Leonce Levesque (Joanne) of St. Charles NB; and several brothers and sisters- in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister: Diane.

Marie-Rose was previously employed at Connors Brothers in Blacks Harbour where she worked on the Snack Line. She loved music, especially Country, and enjoyed spending her Sundays at the Stella Maris Hall Country Jamboree when she lived in Blacks Harbour. She enjoyed dancing and could sometimes even talk Norbert into waltzing with her. Family truly was her life as she loved and cared for all her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and feeding all who came through her door and loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Visiting at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Stella Maris Catholic Church on Monday at 1:00 pm with Father Rolando Suplido officiating, followed by the interment in the parish cemetery. In Marie-Rose's memory, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
