Stephen "Little Stever" Kyle McGuigan

1990-2016

Stephen "Little Stever" Kyle McGuigan
Unexpectedly at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton NB on August 30, 2016, Mr. Stephen "Little Stever" Kyle McGuigan of Canal NB.

Born at Saint John NB on September 6, 1990 he was a son of Stephen and Lorraine (Balfour) McGuigan.

A loving Father, son, brother and grandson, in addition to his parents, he is survived by his son: Hunter McGuigan; little buddy: Landon McKeeman and his mom Anna; brother: Daniel Murray (Jen) of Canal NB; sisters: Kaitlyn McGuigan (Kyle Stewart) and Karisa Allen (Fred Mcvicar) both of Blacks Harbour NB and Jamie (Denis) Devost of Fredericton NB; paternal grandparents: Jack and Carolyn McGuigan of Canal NB; maternal grandmother: Ruth Balfour of Bethel NB; Grammie Melva Murray of Blacks Harbour NB; aunt: Jill (Rick) Spencer of Saint John NB; special aunt: Nita Morehouse of Leduc AB; uncles: Paul (Anita) Balfour and Michael (Nena) Balfour both of Ontario and Kevin McGuigan of Canal NB; nephews: Garrett Murray and Felix Devost; nieces: Makenna, Jordynn and Madilynn Murray and Elizabeth Devost as well as chosen brothers in arms: Justin, T.J, Keaton and Matt as well as his many great aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather David Balfour and his aunt Mel.

Little Stever was fearless, strong willed (or some may say stubborn) and lived every moment to the fullest. He had so much love for family and all those who he chose as family. He could not have had any more love or been any prouder of his son Hunter. Stever also loved taking his little buddy Landon on many outings. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and driving anything with a motor as well as his many outings with his friends. His laughter and smile will be remembered by all those who knew him. Life will now be a little less adventurous without Stever trying everything out first as he was always the first one to jump off that bridge. Stever fought many health battles since the age of five. His body could no longer fight. He will forever be in our hearts and memories.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visiting. A celebration of "Little Stevers" life will be held at St. Marks Anglican Church in St. George NB on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Mary Ann Langmaid officiating. In Stever's memory, donations to the Kidney Foundation, I.W.K, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
