Nedra Jean Lee

At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on August 22, 2016, Nedra Jean (Needle) Lee, wife of the late Lawrence "Rusty" Lee of Bonny River NB. Born in Hartland NB on August 15, 1937, she was a daughter of the late William and Rena (Roy) Needle. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Nedra is survived by daughters: Jocelyn (Hans) Jaitner of Second Falls NB, Sherry (Delbert) Thorne of St. George NB and Penny (Jody) Hanley of Bonny River NB; grandchildren: Andrew Jaitner, Nicholas Jaitner, Jessica Thorne, Eliott Thorne, Madeline Jordan and Cassandra Hanley; great-grandsons: Conner and Cole Jordan; siblings: Francis (Sharon) Needle, Donald Needle, Linda (Jerry) Deveau and Laura Rogers; sister-in-law: Linda Needle and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Nedra was predeceased by brothers: William Needle and Ted Needle and brother-in-law: Terry Rogers.

Prior to retirement, Nedra had been employed with both the Pennfield Saw Mill and with Connor's Brothers in Blacks Harbour where she worked in the labeling room. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, shopping and visiting with her sisters in Moncton and Saint John. She was a long time member of the Second Falls United Baptist Church.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. There will be no visitation. The service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. Reg Ward officiating. In Nedra's memory, donations to Charlotte County SPCA or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
