Donna Maxine Comeau

At Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen NB on July 27, 2016, Mrs. Donna Maxine (Moses) Comeau, loving wife of Edward J. Comeau of St. Stephen and formerly of Pennfield NB. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on January 22, 1942 she was a daughter of the late Donald and Lois (Hatt) Moses.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, in addition to her husband Eddie, she is survived by her children: Shawn (Diane) Comeau and Heather (Peter) Jones both of St. Stephen NB; her beloved grandchildren: Zack and Noah Jones and Brieanna, Mattison and Gabriel Comeau; her siblings: Sharon (John) Turrell of Gondola Point NB, Marsha (Mike) Dougan and Randy (Donna) Moses both of Blacks Harbour NB; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son Arden and by a grandson Riley.

Prior to her retirement, Donna worked for Connor's Brothers for several years in the retail division. She also delivered the rural mail for a number of years in the Pennfield area with her husband Eddie and was also former co-owner of her own wool and video store in the early 1980's. Donna also enjoyed to knit and loved, music either to play or sing, and was a former member of the District 21 Band, Run of The Mill Singers as well as the Stella Maris Catholic Church Choir. She also was a member of the Catholic Women's League and the Red Hat Society. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home(755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB, with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Stella Maris Catholic Church, Blacks Harbour NB on Saturday at 12 Noon with Father Rolando Suplido officiating followed by a reception at the Stella Maris Hall. Private family interment will be held at a later date. In Donna's memory, donations to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
