Linda Eileen Martin

At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on July 23, 2016, Linda Eileen (Johnson) Martin of St. George NB. Born in Pleasant Ridge NB on April 1, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Blair "Spike" and Freda (Noddin) Johnson. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Linda is survived by her children: Shelia Dickerson of Seeley's Cove NB; Jacqueline Martin of Oshawa ON, Derrick Martin (Jane Carson) of Kerr's Ridge NB, Glendon Martin (Julie Harris) of Harvey NB, Cedric Martin of Rolling Dam NB and Crystal Martin of St. George NB; grandchildren: Maria, Adam, Samantha, Steven, Toni, Kayla, Cody, Kalen, Holly, Tia Maria; great-grandchildren: Brooke, Hannah, Jackson, Summer, Solara, Walker, Harper, Hunter, Malcolm, Damon, Chloe and Jayden; special friend: Carl Essency; several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Linda spent her life keeping busy as a mother and homemaker. She loved having her family over for visits and enjoyed visiting with others in the seniors apartment where she lived. She liked to attend the Bible Study sessions held at the apartment and when she was able, enjoyed quilting.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Visitation will be at the Cornerstone Tabernacle Church, St. George NB on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held from the church on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Stanley O'Donnell officiating. In Linda's memory, donations to the Lung Association or to Charlotte County Cancer would be greatly appreciated by the family.
