Alice Faye Hall
Peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her family on July 20, 2016, Mrs. Alice Faye (Hatt) Hall, loving wife of 67 years to Alonzo M. Hall of St. George NB. Born in Lake Utopia NB on December 19, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Wellington and Ethel (Anderson) Hatt. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, in addition to her husband Alonzo, she is survived by her son: Dennis Hall of St. George; grandchildren: David Hall (Heather) of Port Hardy BC and Daniel Hall (Darcie) of Upper L'Etang NB; great-grandchildren: Chaz, Hugo, Damian and Desiree; one sister: Marjorie Moses (Malcolm) of Blacks Harbour NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Alice was predeceased by three brothers: Arnold, Aubrey and Sherman; four sisters: Pearl McHugh, Edith Kelson, Laura Christie and Hilda Christie.

Prior to retirement, Alice was employed at the Bank of Nova Scotia in St. George. She had a passion for life and her favourite thing in this whole world was her family. She enjoyed nothing more than having the house full with family gatherings and she loved to cook and feed them all, including the rest of the neighbour hood. When able, she enjoyed traveling with her husband Alonzo and meeting new people along the way. Alice was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Granite Chapter #15, St. George NB and also a member of the St. George Curling Club. She will be sadly missed but forever loved by her family.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held from the St. George Funeral Home Chapel, St. George NB on Saturday at 4:00 pm with Rev. Canon John Matheson officiating followed by the interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Charlotte County Cancer or to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
