Anthony "Tony" William Thorne

Unexpectedly at his residence at Canal NB on July 1, 2016, Mr. Anthony "Tony" William Thorne of Canal NB.

Born at St. Stephen NB on December 28, 1962, he was a son of Clyde and Anna (Kernighan) Thorne.

A loving father, son and brother, he is survived by: two sons; Zack McIntyre of Saint John NB and Andrew Thorne of Fredericton NB, his parents; Clyde and Anna Thorne of Canal NB, brothers; Timmy and Ronald both of Canal NB as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In his early years, Tony was a laborer by trade having worked for various employers in the area. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and enjoyed various sports. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.

At Tony's request there will be no visitation or service. In his memory donations to the New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family. Online donations and condolences may be placed at www.stgeorgefh.ca
